The Marin Jobs and Career Services mission is to
provide assistance to the job seeking efforts of people who are homeless,
or at risk of becoming homeless in order to promote their ability to attain
full employment at a livable wage and consequently achieve economic self-sufficiency.
Staff provide full-time case management and support services such as workshops
on Mondays and Tuesdays, and on-going counseling to develop the tools required
to be valuable employees. MJP also coordinates a mentor program, pairing
job seekers with willing individuals in the community who provide support
and encouragement.
